Embrace Change
Embracing Change with Perfectly Claire
Here I am approaching 25 and trying to keep up with the pace of NYC.
I've always understood that change is the only thing that is constant in this world, but no one ever knows how long it will take you to adapt.
As I challenged the many different ways to adopt to change, Claire and I next stop was examining my wardrobe.
Claire Mike, is a imagine consultant I met at an Advertising Club of New York City event. I like to consider her a trans-formative guru. I shared my vision with her and our connection, and ever since then our has been clear and direct
In that instant, we decided to work together. Claire and I began this project and with our collaborative efforts, I found a way to have comfort in my transition of stepping out and finding the new. With a series of sessions we explored shapes, colors & tones, and worked on cosmetics, brands and styles. I even found the confidence to coordinate a photo shoot in honor of my birthday.
Claire and I tackled my wardrobe. As a dedicated thriftier, my closet was filled with prints, earth tones and vintage textures. Her “Express Wardrobe Edit” package helped me point out the strength in the diversity within my clothes and the weaknesses.
For example, my style often over aged me and had a lacked of youthfulness. “You want to make an impact,” Claire would say. She analyzed my color, face and body so I would know my own best, hues and patterns.

I learned how to make a few adjustments, like instead of wearing a floral print shirt buttoned up; keep it open with a cami underneath, which breaks up the floral pattern and can put one of my colors near my face. We went on a shopping trip to add flattering pieces that established my presence with a more polished look.
The knowledge and feedback I received from Claire gave me the boost to continue challenging myself in a creative space. I left each session feeling empowered about who I am now, and what I know I will become in the near future. I now understand the tools to make an impact in the room lie within me. We worked together to find ways to enhance what I already have so that the world can see my strongest attributes first, without a doubt.
