My Songs of 2016

My Songs of 2016

Sound has always been a passion of mine. Since I was young I would be fascinated by the radio, music and even talk shows. Although we lived in such a visual world, I still believe that sound and imagination is all you need to get your point across and tell your story.

The city of New York also has it's own soundtrack. It sounds like zooming taxis cars, the rattling subway cars, screeching breaks, drama filled conversations, children giggles, stressed out straphangers, and last, but not least the city sounds like artists trying to cut through the noise to be heard.

There would be times where I would just listen to the city, and other days when I would need to drown it all out. This resulted to me regaining a personal relationship with music, and this year was full of great, artistic, bold music. Therefore, I made a couple playlist of songs that I would have on repeat to give me a moment of "zen" on a crowded train or a burst of energy as I tackled this concrete jungle of NYC. Listen below :)

I attended a Spotify & Cannes Lions event

Since then I've been hooked on listening to music

and curating playlist on this app.
